im having a surgery done in november for spondylolisthesis. im 14, and going into high school. does anyone know how long it will be before i can return to school? i know im going to be in the hospital for 3-5 days. but, my doctor said i will be walking prob. the day after my surgery.

Assuming that you're having some sort of surgery to fuse your vertebrae, you should be able to return to school soon after leaving the hospital (a week at most).

The good news (?) is that you'll get a pass from any strenuous PE classes for at least a couple of months. You want to avoid any sort of shock that would cause the fused vertebra to break apart again before they have completely grown together.
