I am naming my cottage as per tradition and it is located on a road with a latin name, so I thought it would be appropriate if it had a latin name. My research came up with " fragmentum di caelum", but i just tried translating the words. I am not sure if this is right. Thank you for your time.

You are close ... fragmentum caeli (which a Roman would have pronounced kylee)

Of course, as with any language, there are multiple ways to say something.

Much of the time, you can just say caelum (someone would know that your retreat isn't the WHOLE sky/heaven; a piece of it would have been assumed by a Latin speaker.)

frustum caeli (a piece that broke off)
segmentum caeli (slice)

Now here are some more heaven synonyms for you:
coelum
polus (this is kind of poetic)
sedes beatae (the abode of the blessed--now that's poetic!)
superi (the gods, and so, heaven)

This is nice. Maybe you can post a picture of the sign when you have decided, or email it to me. I'd really like to show my class.

both "pars cœli" and "pars cæli", pronounced the same (tcheylee or kehlee - in "restituta") mean part of sky (without paradise connotation). If you want to be absolutely correct the oe and ae are in Latin one letter with the two combined as shown above.
Another solution would be "pars paradisi" meaning part of heaven/paradise. Paradisus means also garden.
That makes an interesting angle.

Pars coeli = A piece of heaven.

Pars = part, share, portion, piece

Coeli = of heaven. You don't need a separate word for 'of' - the word ending makes it 'of heaven'.

This is all I could find...

caelestis: heavenly, celestial; noun, a god, dweller in heaven.
caelum: sky, heaven.

Hope it helps somewhat...
