Ezekiel 23; tells about the fall of Babylon and how immoral it was with the baal gods they sacrificed their children by throwing them into the fire.
It was fortold that cyrus would be the name of the conqueror and that the water would dry up and the gates would be left open and everything happened exactly as it was prophecied hundreds of years in advance.
What about Jesus, he was born in Bethlem, then he had to flee to egypt. Even how his clothes would not be torn in two at his death. How could he control that prophecy?
I saw a book once that had hundreds of fulfilled prophecys.
From the fact that Tyre would be a desolate waste. They worked for years making a cause way out to destroy that city.
Babylon was prophecy never to raise again. It sits to this day that area is desolate.

There are 300 prophecies in the Hebrew Scriptures related to the birth, life and death of the Messiah. Those were fulfilled in precise detail, including the exact area where he would be born. Not just Bethlehem... but Bethlehem Ephratha (Micah 5:2)
The books of Isaiah and Jeremiah all pointed to the destruction of Jerusalem. That was seen in 607BCE. Jesus himself told of the coming destruction, again, of Jerusalem and that was fulfilled in 70CE. There were prophecies regarding the fall of Ancient Babylon that were fulfilled in such precise detail that some have tried (and failed) to make it appear that Daniel's book was a book of history and not of prophecy. I don't remember precise scriptures because it's quite a bit of material. But if you are interested, the next time you come across one of Jehovah's Witnesses, ask them for a copy of the publication "Daniel's Prophecy". It goes into minute detail about this and compares the prophet's words to secular history. It's pretty mind bending in terms of the amount of history and such in it but it's worth looking at.

Holy Molie! There are too many to site. There were 352 prophecies in the Old Testament about the coming of Jesus .He fulfilled 52 just on his last day on earth!(Which would be impossible to do on his own, even if he tried!)
But the restoration of Israel that happened in 1948 was always thought to be an allegory. No one ever thought it would really happen.Plus a million others.

Isaiah 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
This prophesy was fulfilled by the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. Some of the words were taken to a noted scholar, Professor Anton, and he wrote a letter confirming them to be authentic. He asked to see the whole record, but was told it was sealed. He took back his letter and said "I can't read a sealed book".

Foundation of Israel. 1900 years late. And only after centuries of European anti-semitism resulting in the Shoah left them no other way of keeping the Jews out of the way.
And that's it.

--JESUS PROPHECY of the "last days" period:
(Matthew 24:3) “. . .While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the CONCLUSION OF THE SYSTEM (my caps) of things?...........:7-8 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.”
**QUESTIONS WERE POSED for an answer as to (when) "conclusion of the system of things" (:time of the end" ;"last days") of the corrupt life or a corrupt period(much much greater in scope & in deed, than ever before in history) that would be recognizable as to the nearness of God's intervention:
*** ce chap. 18 pp. 227-229 The Bible—Is It Really Inspired by God? ***
**1914—The Turning Point in History
30 From the human standpoint, the world troubles and global wars foretold in the Bible were far from the thinking of the pre-1914 world. German statesman Konrad Adenauer said: “Thoughts and pictures come to my mind, . . . thoughts from the years before 1914 when there was real peace, quiet and security on this earth—a time when we didn’t know fear. . . . Security and quiet have disappeared from the lives of men since 1914.”25 People living before 1914 thought that the future “would get better and better,” reported British statesman Harold Macmillan.26 The book 1913: America Between Two Worlds notes: “Secretary of State Bryan said [in 1913] that ‘conditions promising world peace were never more favorable than now.’”27
--31 So, right up to the very brink of World War I, world leaders were forecasting an age of social progress and enlightenment. But the Bible had foretold the opposite—that the unprecedented war of 1914 to 1918 would highlight the beginning of “the last days.” (2 Timothy 3:1) The Bible also provided chronological evidence that 1914 would mark the birth of God’s heavenly Kingdom, to be followed by unprecedented world trouble.28 But was anyone living back then aware that 1914 would be such a turning point in history?
--32 Decades before that date, there was an organization of people who were making known the significance of 1914. The New York World of August 30, 1914, explains: “The terrific war outbreak in Europe has fulfilled an extraordinary prophecy. For a quarter of a century past, through preachers and through press, the ‘International Bible Students’ [Jehovah’s Witnesses] . . . have been proclaiming to the world that the Day of Wrath prophesied in the Bible would dawn in 1914. ‘LOOK OUT FOR 1914’ (my caps) has been the cry of the . . . evangelists.”29
****MORE ON THE 1914 PERIOD as being the most dramatic start of the most significant time in history ,that would never stop escalating as to attrocities and inhumanities:
--ALONG WITH Apostles Pauls' description of the disposition of the majority of mankinds Godless makeup:
(2 Timothy 3:1-5) “3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2Â For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3Â having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4Â betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5Â having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.”
---COMMENTARY ON 2 Tim 3:
*** w94 4/15 p. 11 par. 17 Helpful Teaching for Our Critical Times ***
--"Second Timothy 3:1-5 gives us a parallel indication that during the conclusion of the system, or last days, the fruitage all around Christians would be bad. Paul was not saying that the 19 things listed would be the prime way to prove that the last days had arrived. Rather, he was warning about what we would have to contend with during the last days. Verse 1 speaks of “critical times hard to deal with.” That expression is from the Greek, and it literally means “appointed times fierce.” (Kingdom Interlinear) Do you not agree that “fierce” aptly describes what we are facing today? This inspired passage goes on to give divine insight into our time."
--ONE MAJOR REASON things would become uncontrolable , from a human standpoint would be because of this happening , which we believe took place just prior to the last days scenario:
(Revelation 12:7-9) “. . .And war broke out in heaven: Mi′cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven.
--9Â So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him......
---12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”
***THE "SHORT PERIOD OF TIME"--would be the segment of the "last days" period!--OF WHICH we have been in since 1914!
