I'm intertested in hearing from fellow spell casters. Thanks!

BTW, I don't believe in hell or the devil or evil, really. So nix the "fire and brimstone" talk. Can someone just answer the question? Appreciate it!

If you are a neophyte, you shouldn't be trying to cast spells.

Learn what magic is, and what it is not first.
Get a good grounding in ethics first
Get a good grounding in cause and effect first.
Find and learn from people who have been witches for a number of years first.

If all you are after is spells, then you aren't really serious about this as a spiritual path.

It would go against my ethics to even suggest where someone untrained could get spells, as my helping you would to some degree tie me to any results of you using that information.

Learn to be a Witch or Wiccan first, spells will/should come when you are ready for them.

Magick doesn't work like a recipie. Magick is nothing more than an extension of one's true Will, even in the most mundane of tasks. Chants, alters, and other props are the means with which to focus your Will, and emotion is the engine that drives it. Read any of the works of Aleistair Crowley, or The Satanic Rituals by Anton Lavey and it will give you a good solid grounding.

There are loads of websites with information. I think the best thing, though, is to get to know some people in your area that you can trust (hang out with them for awhile and assess if they're honorable or not), and ask them to help you learn. You'll get all kinds of answers and then you have to decide what works for you. Paganism and spellcasting are very individual things. I don't think any two of us are exactly alike.

They are all lined up out there to take you money and supply you with all kinds of books on spells, etc.

If spells truly worked, there would be no need for some sort of formula of correct words to use, and everyone who finally figured out how to make spells work would be quite wealthy now, wouldn't they?

You are entering into a grist mill, and they are going to grind you away, all the while you think you are the one gaining something.

There are only two powers in existence, and you are attempting to tap into the wrong one. You think, like the others, that you will learn to control the power, when in reality in time the power will end up controlling you.

Your life will be forfeit, just like all the others before you. They promise you a life of fun and interest, but deliver death.

Go forth and stand in line like the rest, awaiting your destruction that awaits at the front of the line.

I know, and have known, many wiccans. The ones that are still alive are in poor health and are pitifull people.

But you're too smart to be deceived.... your eyes are wide open....

I don't know, but when you learn to cast spells, can you prove it by casting one on me?
And don't say "It doesn't work that way". That's always the excuse when someone is claiming to have a power that doesn't exist.

Even my five-year-old understands this.

No one can do a spell, NO ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would not read Crowley unless you in a hurry to be attacked by Demons.
