i just want to know wat age its ok to get a nose piercing im currently 12 and want to get a nose piercing but not sure about it plz help???????

Hey =] I'm 14 and I pierced my own nose (don't do that cos you're only 12!). Until you're 18 , you'll need your parents permission. But some places won't pierce people under 15/16 - even with a parent.

A nose piercing at your age is OK, just make sure your Mom knows, you dont want her to freak! Be prepared though. Your skin changes during the month due to hormone changes and your peircing might not heal because of this. I had mine done, Im 37, and during that "time of the month" I was guaranteed to get an infection, which looks awful on your nose. I had to give up trying and take it out. I wish I could have it done again, but its just my skin. Not all are the same though, so you might be OK. Good luck and Im jealous!! lol

most credible (ie good) piercing places will pierce if you're 16 with parents consent, or 18 without it, especially for facial and body piercings. it's best not to get a piercing that young as you're still growing, which can affect piercings. probably best to wait til you're 16 - sorry!

well it really depends on where and what state you are in. i got my nose pierced in NH when i was 11 and i needed a parent and my birth certificate. your best bet will be to search for tattoo parlors and call to ask what their age standards are.

You need your parents permission at your age. But you may want to wait and consider this more, it's something you can't really go back on. I would wait, but that's just me.

I'm 13 and I'm not even allowed to get my ears pierced until I'm 16!! Sure, I want to get my nose pierced, but I won't even dream of it till I'm moved out!! I say wait till your 18!!! DAMN!

uhh... no. you're way too young. plus your school won't approve of it, and neither would I. if i am correct you're entering sixth grade? when i see nose piercings I think "WHITE TRASH!!!" like anna nicole smith.

i am 15 and i got mine pirced when i was 14 but my mom was really mad so i would defentally ask your mom first ha but i would say like for you 13th birthday get it done.
