ear piercing and salt water. good combo?

i want to get two more holes in my left ear however i am going to be at the beach next week. will my ear get infected?

CLEAN salt water (ie boiled water, salt) is good for your ear - SEA salt water (people and fish's bodily fluids in it, not to mention random pollution etc) is likely to be very bad for a brand new piercing - you wouldn't want anything in the sea to get into the hole

the best thing to do would be to wait til afterwards - or just don't go in the sea at all while you're there!

no, when you get a piercing they tell you to rinse it with salt water. This shouls be good for it.
