To those who believe design is evident in the order of the universe, what are the characteristics of an undesigned universe?

Does matter still bend space to form gravity? Are cause and effect related?

There would be a lot of complex systems with extreme sensitivity to initial conditions.

Probably a bunch of empty space too. It wouldn't have very much life either. In fact, intelligent life on one planet probably wouldn't even be able to find intelligent life on any other planets.

Basically, it'd look the exact same as it does now, because our universe is undesigned.

Gosh... I'd have to guess that an undersigned universe would organize itself according physical laws, that it would be in a continuous state of change and that it would probably have to be infinite. I would expect novas and galaxies to be strewn about and I would expect to see no apparent patterns or arrangements of star systems.

I guess that means an undersigned universe would look pretty much like what were looking at all the time. It would look just like our modern day known universe.

To Jingizu... "...our universe and all others..." Sweetheart, there is only one universe. Universe means all of everything - by definition there cannot be more than one "all of everything."

Perhaps you've made an error, eh?

In order to answer this question, I would have to design an undesigned universe... already there is a problem.

An undesigned universe looks exactly like the one we're in, since our universe [and all others] are undesigned.
But I think your question was for those who believe in divine design...

QED, QUANTUM ELECTRO DYNAMICS, the existence of anti-matter or dark-matter has been proven so therefore this argument does not equate.

You're looking at it.

Darn, Gandalf, if that isn't evidence for a creator I don't know what else isn't.
