Strange...Read the book "Just as I Am", never saw anything that even alluded to CiA or FBI.
Also, neat little button below, "Search the Web". I used it for billy graham cia. Only thing that came back was some story about the Illuminati (remember them...world control...secret diabolical group). Seems we're all mistaken. According to this "exclusisve" article, Billy was in on this with Jeanne Dixon and Joseph Randolph Hearst.
Wow...and I thought National Enquirer was wild with their stories.
But....nothing showing a CIA conversation with Larry King.
would have had more credibility if you would have posted the date this show went down. Then I'd be able to confirm it. But, unfortunately, I suspect I wasn't suppose to attempt to do any outside research to such a preposterous accusation.

news flash for you...
anyone who is of a high profile nature and travels out of the country, around the country, has access to government personnel "is on the radar of the CIA"....you will have an extra traveling companion...seen or unseen...
The fact that many countries are anti American and anti Christian and regard any one with a large entourage as "spy"....government officials would naturally have question of the political climate of the area where Mr. Graham had been in regards to how they were received, treated, etc.....
Media information and the "spin of a libelous" story line is the basis of many apologies having to be issued by the media..
Your apparent dislike of authority figures and Christianity is no reason for a feeble attempt to discredit televangelists and their work at spreading the gospel by making side accusations of wrong doing.....
What would Jesus say? Thou shallt not bear false witness.....
If Jesus has a problem with it , he will take care of it....

What you said about about Dr. King are unfounded and simply not true. I have found a transcript from CNN- Which contains the details of his dealings with Dr. King.
NOLL: There were conservative Protestants who wrote him off as a theological modernist. Graham has never been a theological modernist, but he has been willing to cooperate with a broad range of churches.
PHILLIPS: Graham also drew criticism when he began reaching out to the African-American community. At a Mississippi crusade in 1952, Graham broke down a racial barrier, literally.
BARROWS: Billy, himself, went and took the rope down and said we don't have segregated meetings, whatever their reason for segregating them. They can sit anywhere they want to. And he took a stand for his belief that every man is equal before Christ.
HOWARD O. JONES, EVANGELIST: In his heart he knew it wasn't right.
PHILLIPS: Howard O. Jones, the first black preacher in Billy Graham's ministry, remembers the struggles when the evangelist brought his message to churches in Harlem.
JONES: They said, Billy, for God's sake, don't go to Harlem. Those savages will kill you. When the news broke that he had added a black man on his team, he got a lot of nasty letters. They said you don't need that "N" preacher on your team. And if you keep Howard Jones on there, we're not going to support you anymore.
DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.: Oh, God, we ask you --
PHILLIPS: Graham would push the cause of civil rights further, inviting Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to deliver a prayer at his Madison Square Garden crusade.
KING: Work with renewed vigor for the brotherhood that transcends race or color.
JONES: A lot of whites stopped coming to the Garden, in protest. But all the people that left, God was good, he brought others in. The Garden was still full every night.
GRAHAM: The Old Testament looks forward to him. The New Testament looks back to him, but the center of the scriptures is Christ.
Anyway I have provided a link so you can read the entire interview. Yes he had dealings with Presidents since Truman, he encouraged Eisenhower to run for office. He was close personel friends with President Reagan, a friendship born way before Reagan took office. He distanced himself from Johnson after he was angered by a photograph of prayer taking place on the White House lawn. Anyway, read
it.

It depends and is an interesting insight into Christian minds. If jesus is real and is as described in the bible then, yes he does. "lies make baby jesus cry" etc. It is possible that the multitudes of dishonest Christians are equally aware the God does not exist, therefore feel no guilt at telling lies on an almost constant basis. You would think that the real believers should anticipate going to hell for their lies, unless they are planning a deathbed confession.

why are you wasting your time watching larry king. billy graham is a good preacher, and because of him many were led to christ. he will be rewarded greatly in heaven. and don't think that christians are supposed to be perfect and sinless, they are human just like you, the whole reason they need jesus.

Dear Doltorzero: I don't pay much attention to such INTRIGUING, INTELLECTUAL and RELIABLE sources as Larry King, for my information regarding the Kingdom of God.
If you want to do so, go ahead. You will just be fed the Communist Party line, and so far you seem to have swallowed plenty of it!
Congratulations! You're well on your way to becoming one of what Lenin called his 'useful idiots.......'

I have known church leaders get involved with politics instead of sticking to evangelism - and it's usually unwise.
