I have chrons diease and lately its been really bad.Im very stressed out so i know thats y.My doctor gave me some anti depressent pills but new problems keep arising everyday so there really not working.Any ideas of a natural remedy i can do?or something to help my stress.Ive been reading books.going for walks.hangin out with friends.but nothings been working.i need ideas!! thanks!

oh and P.S. im on a 100mg of zoloft and i really dont want to go on a higher dosage.It makes me too tired.

thanks guys! and btw I had my whole colon removed too.So i know that casuses more problems but i just stop going to the bm now.
ya im not too big about the anti depressent pills either.but my doctor prescrbies them like water and i thought i wud try it out and see if it helps.

You probably are missing vital nutrients because your colon is not absorbing them. This in itself can cause depression.
Simple things to settle the crohns disease, never drink from a straw, don't chew gum nicotine can help, avoid MSG, eat several smaller meals, avoid restaurants.
Meditation, Epsom salt bath, proper sleep, get rid of the stresses!
Some things in life do need to be dealt with, anti-depressants won't solve them just will give you a ton of nasty side effects!

I know crohns disease has to do with the gastrointestinal problems. Have you tried DanActive? It helps replenish your stomach flora. I'm not sure if it will help you but it wouldn't hurt to try. As for the depression I have battled that myself. A friend recommended that I try eating turkey and take a good B complex. What do you know it really did help.
