It's extremely hot outside and when it gets really humid outside, my sinsues run me crazy! I have tried everything... from laying down and putting the covers over my head, putting my face over hot steam, taking an extremely hot bath, I can't seem to get any relief. Do you have any suggestions?

Besides taking a sinus medication you can get some relief by applying pressure in the cheek bone area under your eyes and also on your eye brow where you feel the indent on the bone. I feel for you. I have it also.

I have two.

Since your sinuses act up when it's humid, steam probably won't help you much.

1)Check for allergies. It could be that heat and humidity are encouraging the growth of something you're allergic to.

2)See an ear-nose-throat specialist. An ENT might be able to help you.

Good luck!

i watched this yesterday on Opera Winfrey show where she was with Dr Oz,(who gives remedies for problems) , he gave this remedy to a lady with sinuse problem she said it was life changing it has a name i forgot i'll discribe it to u and u can ask ur doctor. u buy a pot from pharmacy that looks like a tea pot put tap water(not cold not warm) water in it bend put water in one of ur nose holes and the water will wash all ur sinusses and come out of ur other nose hole it's not uncomfortable and u'll feel good if u do it daily.
