He does not need to be worshipped. When you worship him it releases the blessings of Heaven to chase off demons, open up blessings such as the Angels of God ministering to you and so on. It's a "Key" to opening up the blessings of heaven upon yourself. Satan says to God "If everything is not going well, they will not worship you" ..........if we do anyway it crushes him under our feet and defeats him. Worship and prayer are two of the most powerful weapons a Christian has in spiritual warfare, that and knowing the word of God and who we are in Christ. See the book of Ephesians.

It is unclear to me what the term "need" means when applied to the deity. The usual assertion is that god lacks nothing, and need implies a lack.
So, the issue of worship isn't about the deity, but rather about those who come to know god. What does that relationship require of those who believe? This is a question of justice.

God could have "NO" need for God is Wholeness, Completeness,Totality. We need to worship God for in that alone will we discover the Truth about what God "IS".

He doesn't need to be worshiped. But if you understood the ramifications of what the bible teaches, and what he created, you probably would anyway. Are you greatful for the people who developed the light bulb, and got electricity working? worship is just another form of appreciation.

First of all i am not religious. But i have found that if you find God you cannot help but worship or stand in awe.

Love is a reciprocal force. One must love to be loved. Though God loves us without strings attached - grace is freely given to us.
Worshipping God, thanking Him daily for the things we have in life such as life, is the right thing to do.
If we cannot be loving, polite and respectful to our Creator, how can we be loving, polite and respectful to each other?

God is the creator of this earth..this is HIS earth..his people..his heavens..everything belongs to him..He could wipe mankind out this second if he wanted too..He loves his creation and He deserves to be worshiped..He is GOD..Almighty..
