It depends on the body language of the person smiling. You must look at the facial muscles, eyes and body position. A man smiles at a woman becasue he thinks she is attractive. A woman will smile for a few reasons. She may smile only because you made eye contact and she now feels obligated or she smiles because you look attractive to her. She also may smile to make another guy at the bar jealous and force him to make a move on her. Women are sly and very difficult to understand.

er what do I do, what do I do... If it me she likes or somoen else, what does the smile mean?
Er what do i say, what do I do. Going to mess it up. dont do anything... If you try she will think you are a perve jerk who sees woemn as pieces of meat.
Maybe if I dance she may come over... minds gone blank.. got to do somethign if she thinkgs Im a wuss.. how to I sort this out, shes cute etc.

I smile at people all the time, but that doesn't mean I want to sleep with them - it's just polite to smile.

At my age I would assume she was just saying hello, nice to see you. Although in this day and age I know it can easily be taken the wrong way, shame really.

If it was just the once I would think she was just being nice but if it happened again I would think she liked what she see and would probably go and offer her a drink.....
