That is your personnel opinion which your entitled too. You DO NOT have the right to teach or make this anything more then just plain human anatomy. The more you make a big deal about it the students will think..if it makes the teacher all stressed out there must be something good about it. Do you really think people would get married within this "guideline". Having sex is part of adult life. The majority of people like sex. It's fun, feels good, and it's nothing to feel bad about.

A teacher can say that is his/her opinion... but it's not up to the teacher to teach that sex is only for reproduction. Sex education is just to give the information so that the kids can make an informed decision when their time comes. Teachers are supposed to provide information kids need.... not tell them HOW to live. That falls on the parents first and the "kid" when he/she is an adult.

There's a difference between teaching it's confined to married people and teaching it's only for reproduction. I don't recall the scripture right now, but in the Proverbs, a man is being counselled to stay away "foreign women" and enjoy pleasure with the "wife of his youth."

I am sure originally sex means union for reproduction, in fact in nature we can se that animal and plant only does it for that purpose, but we as humans have the free will to choose our activity whatever that is, also enjoyment then
What is really important is to be aware that sex is somehow sacred and so it should not be spoiled by simple attachment and perversity, that is really wrong, so if you teach how to be aware and respectful of sex and partner may be it could be more useful

I'd say no! sex isnt only for reproduction, but also for pleasure and love etc. I know thats probably a hard thing to teach kids that, but im sure theres a way to do it (im guessing they are pre-teens?)
Its better to teach them the truth rather than letting them find out them selves
Good Luck with that ..

No it's not okay. You shouldnt hide this from your student even if they are young. They have to learn from the beggining ALL the meaning of sex or they will repress their feellings and they will grow thinking that sex is only a way of reproduction. And thats just wrong

Do you know two human beings who have sex only for reproduction? It's a beautiful gift created by God for a husband and wife.

In certain species, it is, but it would probably be better to only teach the reproductive parts of sex, and leave out the rest, rather than lying.
If you lie to your class, they will learn less.

Well, that goes against most religious beliefs and also the basic way that humans are designed to behave. I think a bigger question would be what the approved sex ed curriculum is where you teach. You really shouldn't be teaching things that contradict it.
