i am currently in the frankfurt/mannheim areas and would love to purchase a bottle and would like to know if anyone can point me in the direction of purchasing a bottle.

It looks like no locals are going to help you out. You can always fall back on Ebay. I have purchased booze through them before and had no problem. If you want a gaurantee try Hi Times Liquor. They have on line ordering and ship any where in the world.
