Do people suddenly get the urge to lob one of their shoes out of the window, when they are on these roads, and why only one shoe? - you never see a pair.

Perhaps you are a shoe thrower and can enlighten me...?

I threw a pair of old boots out of the car window once OK I do it ever time I replace my work boots I aways throw them in the same place driving at 20-30 miles an hour they never land together and have never landed in the same place twice so on a motorway they are going to move around a bit more than on a side street as you are moving a lot faster (they get chucked at my ex wifes house by the way I have never gotten them to the door from the road yet)

Its when people are in a traffic jam and get out to stretch there legs and sit down on the side to take there shoes off to rest there feet and as they start doing this the traffic starts moving again and they run to the car leaving a shoe behind.

lol, i've noticed this as well...also I've seen odd socks lying around places aswell. My twin brother once got his shoe thrown out of the taxi by his "mate" on the way back from town. They'd had a bit to drink and thought it might be funny....

So maybe it's people (lads) messing about, trying to find something to liven up an otherwise boring car journey!?

What happens is first of all they always leave a single glove sticking up on a railing, then they realise they look stupid wearing only one glove. To make things better they also discard a shoe in order to make it seem like they're making a fashion statement and not just being idiots.

Have you ever seen a Auto Pedestrian accident. Motor Car strikes the poor guy and knocks them right out of there shoes. But that would mean there would be two shoes?

Sorry to be boring, but if you threw a pair out the window of a speeding car, you'd have to be a darn good shot to get them to land and stop bouncing at the same place.
