That Monica Lewinsky received a paid position at the Pentagon in the office of the Pentagon's press secretary, following her unpaid White House internship, which required she possess a Top Secret (Q level) clearance and there doesn't seem to be any record of a detailed background investigation being done. If the President directed that the investigation not be done , that's a violation of the National Security Act of 1947 (as amended) and that is a high crime or misdemeanor. However, the Republicans were so fixated on sexual conduct, they didn't pursue that in their Articles of Impeachment delivered to the Senate.
