look at whut i see that cowboy looking guy says nappy headed and he gets lynched jesse jacksons out here saying he should never work again. but mike vick slauagters animals and there like its no worse then hunting and he should be let play as soon as possible seems kinda partisian if u ask me maybe it should change its name to the national association of **** wite folks and let minorieties get away with everthing. i meen they do alot of good but i think thing like this are counter productive and i cant help but think theres some tom foolery goin on in the ranks?

I don't think they're corrupt for the fact they were making sure Mike Vick gets a fair trial, but more so because they have let other sources become a part of the NAACP. The NAACP only takes part in certain* issues. Blacks do not run the NAACP anymore, sorry people. Let 'em go.

No Johanna it is not ridiculous. If you invest a lot* of money in an organization sooner or later you will want to voice your opinion about some things...since it is your money and you have an opinion on where it is going and what's being down with it. There are others* who are the Board of the Directors for the NAACP, but not necessarily members...catch my drift?.... and that's where big money is coming from. It's called "hush money".
That is why you see NAACP helping Michael Vick, a guy with lots of money whom can help himself...when they could be helping the young men in Jena. A few top-notch people have left the NAACP. Think about it Johanna, you don't have to believe me but at least think about it.
They are the NAACP, but why aren't they helping the 'colored' people who can't help themselves? The NAACP started out as an organization to help Black people at a disadvantage, but now they only chase after certain cases.

I don't think that the NAACP is corrupt. It is an organization, so of course there will be some people in it who are corrupt, but I don't think that there's any thing wrong with the organization as a whole. They do do a lot of good things.
I don't mind that the NAACP is supporting Vicks after the dog fighting incident. It wasn't the right thing for him to do, but I don't think that he should be forced to sacrifice his career and livelihood because of it. The important thing is that he doesn't do it again and that every one else in this country learns from his example. Dog fighting is not okay!

They are an organization with a preference for black issues, and that's OK. I respond to this question because "it's not run by blacks any more"? That is ridiculous. Go to the NAACP site and browse. The leadership is 90% black. But it's not run by blacks?
