Indians do not celebrate Independence Day! Only Indian Government Celebrates that. Indians are yet to be independent from lot of evils. So, the day still has to come. The Independence day is the symbolic form of sovereignity of India. This is one step towards the highest peak. So, why do they not celebrate it?

I have attended some Independence Day celebrations here in my town and I have found them symbolic at best. But I can't agree that the NRIs do nothing for their homeland. By immigrating to other countries they made some room for others who left behind. Haven't they? In defense of the NRIs I can say that in India too the Independence celebration is only a formality and no heart in it except for some older people who witnessed the British brutalities first hand.

Why other countries celebrate there Independence day for the same reason we are celebrating our INDEPENDNCE Day but the American Companies forced us not to celebrate our INDIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY and they ask us to celebrate the AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY which is called as an IMEPERIALISM by America.
