Why would you want too?

I guess it depends on not treating me well.

After I break up with someone, they are out of my life. I don't hang in the same circles as they do so that makes things easier if and when it's time to break up. Meaning, I don't mess with others at the same school I'm in and don't mess with people at work unless I'm planning on quitting soon and could care less at that point.

It depends on the two of you. I have an ex boyfriend that I was with for four years. When we broke up, we hated each other. It was that bad. After some time, we made up and became very close friends. He was somebody that knew me more than anyone else. We appreciated the time that we had shared. And, we eventually learned to get over that pain of losing each other. We realized that we didn't have to lose each other, just that relationship. My point is, if you love each other, and want to remain friends, it is possible. It will be really hard to see each other with someone else but, it is possible. Time will take away the jealousy.

If you do not want to be friends with him... go ahead and make his life a living hell. After all, he hurt you! Go for it!

I don't see why not. You're not together anymore its all water under the bridge.

People break up because they're unhappy with something(s) in the relationship. If you wanna be friends after ward, you have to let bygones be bygones.

If you can't forget and move on then you can't be friends. Unless he was seriously psycho or has done something unforgivable, then fences can be mended. If he was psycho or majorly hurtful then why would you wanna make nice?

there is no point in holding grudges, to me it's just a waste of time and energy, whatever he did he did no matter u hold grudges or u nice to him or not, best thing to do for urself move on and take whatever he did as a learning curve to u,cos what doesn't kill u makes u strong.

Well, that depends on you really. How much you have forgiven him n move on with your life. Its alright, to just ignore him for the time being. But time will heal the hurt.

If you are a mature person who would like to move on with your life - you should forgive, however if you are like me, a bitter, resentful person - make a voodoo doll of him, possibly even use one of the old photo's of him for the face, and jab with a large pin (or knitting needle) at every opportunity!!!

I suppose you can, depending on how bad he treated you. You can also think of it as a form of revenge. Don't let him know he gets under your skin. Smile like you're on cloud 9 when you see him.
