was the 3rd Doc still stuck on Earth with UNIT?
Did any of the other incarnations visit the year?

The 10th series of Doctor Who was shown early in 1973 (it started on 30th December 1972) and featured Jon Pertwee as the 3rd Doctor.
The stories shown in that series were.
The Three Doctors
Carnival of Monsters
Frontier In Space
Planet of the Daleks
The Green Death
At the end of "The Three Doctors", The Time Lords gave the Doctor his freedom to travel in the Tardis again, as a reward for saving Gallifrey from Omega's revenge and providing them with a new power source. So the only Earth based UNIT story in the series was "The Green Death" (Katy Manning's last story as Jo Grant), although "The Three Doctor's" itself was partially set on Earth and heavily featured UNIT.
"Carnival of Monsters" was set on the planet Inter Minor, "Frontier In Space" (Roger Delgado's final appearance as the Master) was set in various locations in the far future, and "Planet of the Daleks" was set on the planet Spirodon.
The 11th series (Pertwee's final series as the Doctor) started on 15th December 1973, starting with "The Time Warrior", the first story to feature Sarah Jane Smith as the Doctor's companion. It began on contemporary Earth, but the setting quickly changed to medieval England, where a Sontaran warrior was transporting scientists through time to work on his crashed space ship.
"Horror of Glam Rock" was set in 1974.

In 1973 the doctor was played by John Pertwee. As it is a science fiction show though based on Time Travel any doctor could appear though.

Really sorry, I don't know, but great idea - especially as John Simm plays Sam Tyler and The Master. Maybe when the Master became "human" to escape the Time War he went to Earth and lived as Sam for a while in 1973?

Although the Third Doctor was in stories set on Earth showing in 1973 (e.g. The Green Death - set in Wales), these episodes weren't necessarily set in that year. I seem to recall the Brigadier refering to the Prime Minister as being female BEFORE Margaret Thatcher came to power...

on the time of Roe v. Wade, many states already had legalized some variety of abortion, so there have been approved physicians on the time appearing them. There are different the thank you to abort a fetus. to illustrate, there's a fungus, Claviceps purpuriam, which will properly be discovered on some North American grains, e.g. rye, and this organism makes a kinfolk of chemical components (ergotamines) that are exceedingly helpful abortifacients. The fungus is not extra eradicable than dandelions are, so everyone who ought to acquire some ought to pass into the (unlawful) abortion organization.
