I think that the best thing is to maintain a bit of space - allow each other time on their own if they want it. When I moved in with my partner it was really odd as we had both lived on our own for years and the togetherness was a bit much to start with.

get your money matters settled NOW. financial matters break up most relationships early. my gf and i had 3 accounts: her account, my account and the house account. we both put a portion of our checks into the house account (pay bills, rent/morgage, food,etc) but her money was her's and my money was mine. the house account was off limits to both of us. it worked for us because we're still together after 30 years
