im petrified of frogs! im not sure if this is a strange phobia but i dont know of anyone else who is scared of them. do you have a strange phobia and what is it?

Clowns. I know other people are too.. but I'm terrified. I'm not even completely sure why. Also, elevators, spiders, driving under bridges (even before the most recent thing) Death is a BIG one, water bugs, hermit crabs,Moths, grasshoppers and crickets, infectious diseases, losing my teeth, finding out I can't have kids,going blind or def, driving by a Semi truck, I'm really afraid I'm going to die in a horrific and painful way, cancer, the ocean(deep water), and lightning( But only when I'm not in my house). Oh, and the word 'Murder' its such a horribly powerful word. Everyone dies... but to be MURDERED.. that's chilling.
I'm afraid to look at mirrors in the dark too.. I think it has to do with that bloody Mary thing from when I was a kid.
God.. I'm neurotic! *sigh* at least I'm not afraid of that...

It is not a phobia if it is not strange
because
phobia is an anxiety disorder characterized by extreme and irrational fear of simple things or social situations.
I'm petrified of height but not as much now as I used to be before because I used to climb up the mountains when I was living in a mountains area and used to realize myself, while looking downward, that it is an irrational fear.

I'm scared when the computer displays a blue screen with some words on it.
I got this phobia when i was six and had a nightmare of not being able to shut down the computer. It displayed a blue screen with some words.

Cobras. I do not come across them in the flesh, thank god; but if i see a picture of one in a magazine i cannot touch the magazine again! They make my skin crawl. My 25 year old brother has a frog phobia!

I have a phobia of my sister, everytime I go near her I come out in rashes, it's terrible and pretty strange.

Im scared of drowing esp if people come near me when im swimming in the sea or a pool i panic.
Im also scared of wasps and bee's (been stung 5 times)
And the usual spiders, and cows also freak me out.

My M.I.L is totally freaked by frogs too, scared to death, so I know how you feel, my phobia are bees and wasps and any other little annoying buzzing flying things too

I know some one who is scared of frogs they are even scared to go into the garden incase there is one out there.

I got loads of frogs in my garden(so many I cant mow the grass, thats my excuse) they
re lovely and wont hurt you, come round mine and 'play' you'll soon learn to love them
