Strangely enough, this question has never before been asked. Let's face it, there have been some absolute classic questions and answers lodged since the Gender and Women's Studies Section first opened Our eyes as to the way others perceive the opposite sex to think and behave. Go back and research Your favorites, and then let Me know what 'tickled Your fancy', 'rattled Your chain', or 'pissed on Your chips'. This could be fun.

Flying Horse, Object of it's Ire (the original not the happy clone), Carrie, you (I have a soft spot for nurses), Port Wine, Kendrick, Flying Horse, Croa (I miss her), Rain (who I miss as well), Baba (a chip off the old block), Franzia, Girly, Delicous (the are sharp and are not afraid to be up front and in your face), Rio (tries to be politically correct), Bruce (for being logical), Flying Horse and VWisgirl (intelligent, insightful and original).Kupkayek and Teeleecee ( awesome answers and awesome questions) Tera, Bikerchick, CRK, godless pagan (informative and down to earth with sensible answers. Draicoram, Salek (where are you?) Upyanose, mumof3 girls (miss her too!) Bluestar eye, and simone because I always enjoy their answers and questions.
I may not agree with these posters but they are respectful and do not go out of their way to be vicious or nasty.
Forgive me if I left anyone out. Patois , Fraxinus. These people all make it worthwhile to come back. Oh and the little troll shark who I just adore (I don't even care who he really is)>

So far, the funniest is Troll Shark. Otherwise, my general answer is that I really appreciate the votes of confidence from some of the wiser women who can tell I'm still processing a lot of garbage from my ex. I also get a lot of insight into the rhetoric of misled feminism from several regular posters here, although it's disheartening to think of how these women might impact a good woman who is on the fence.

Franzia because she is so witty and insightful, Waswisgirl because she comes up with excellent issues to discuss, Flyinghorse for asking good questions on various subjects,
and Girly McFemale for being very objective. Oh and how can I forget Chavella. I love her answers. There are some more who contribute too but I see these users doing this most often.

You say this question has not been asked, but I asked a very similar one recently, actually I said most interesting, as opposed to favorite.

But I will say that my favorites are Troll Shark™ and Baba Yaga for being so funny, Girly McFemale, Steve Sider, and FlyingHorse for being so insightful, The Mrs. and Franzia Kafka for being so pragmatic, and to some extent, The Jackal, Ares/Fishes/Push for getting under my skin in their devilish way.

FlyingHorse -- thanks for the compliment! You listed me twice in your list! Woo Hoo!

I am relatively new to Yahoo, but adore surfing this particular site.
I enjoy intellectual challenge hence my faves here are Flying Horse, great thinker; Teleecee great contributor, Portwine because he makes me laugh, Jason because he asks good questions; Leo86 because he is new, young and just starting out; Quiet again because he not only makes me laugh he makes me think and ILovewomen, haven't got the graphics to write his name as he does, he is an extremely interesting guy with an insight not usually seen and it's always a pleasure to answer his questions although we often disagree but I respect his point of view.
There you go my faves.

Nice question Ashley, but extremely difficult to answer as I am sure I would leave someone out!!
But I will give it a try.

I have many reasons to like contributors, some make me laugh, others smile, others make me really think and I have learn from most of them. But all this contributors have one quality I like, they are very intelligent, so this is my list and sorry IF I forget someone, that I am sure I will!

Teeleecee, Waswisgirl, Franzia Kafka, Deirdre, Farien (he hasn't come here lately), Carrie, Fraxinus, Henry Jo, Daniel (where is he?), Jitu, Random, Ecogeek, Draecoiram, Super Ruper, Girly McFemale, Chevella, Object of It's Ire (I love her passionate arguments), Patois, Rainbow, Mandy, MC, TERA, Kate Lomax, Dharma (he always changes his name, so I don't know who he is today lol), Rainbow, Mandy and yes Troll Shark, because when he "appears" he is so funny.

Thanks to all of you for trying to make this a "normal" place ;-)

EDIT:

I KNEW I was going to forget people!

Should I say Rainbow again? (lol)

Portwine and Kendrick, although I mostly don't agree with them ;-)

RIO!! Of course!!

p.s. I have a feeling I will be keeping editing this...please be patient with me...thanks for your attention (lol)

"Franzia's" posts can be insightful, funny and deliciously bitchy.

On a good day, she manages to combine all three.

This is a hard question to answer because there are some wonderful contributors out there who each bring their personalities to the fore. I think this is the ideal combination: subject knowlege, skill with words, and a fresh perspective. Without that...well...

we could actually do some research and find a recognised, authoritative source!
