I was prescribed it for a fever blister and I was wondering if it would cause a yeast infection.

Valtrex is an antiviral drug. It's mechanism of action is that it is an inhibitor of an enzyme that only the virus uses, so it cannot cause a yeast infections. Yeast infections that are caused by antibiotics because they kill the "good" bacteria that live in the vagina allowing for yeasts to move in and set up shop.

I've attached an article if you'd like to know more. I hope this helps.

Herpes is brought about by using an outbreak, no longer yeast. that's in basic terms a twist of fate that she has the two. yet am i able to in basic terms say which you made me shudder? A yeast an infection so undesirable which you won't be able to stroll?? And for quite a few months?? Yuck! How would desire to she stay like that? She desires to take extra effective care of her well-being.

Valtrex is more like an anti-viral (viruses cause cold sores and Herpes) but it's possible that it could still make one prone to a yeast infection. I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well to see what they say.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/treatmentHerpes2o156fhQ

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMHab

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment
