Good Qustion, but there are many ways to answer:
Love, as an operating force in my life, has empowered me to do many things I would not normally wish to do from a purely selfish stand point. Ex.
I was once driving with some friends when we entered a poorer neighborhood. We suddenly found ourselves in the midst of a crowd where a man had just been run over by a whirt driver - that had fled the scene. I turned the wheel over to a bud and asked him to drive the girls away while i got down to help (I know - seems crazy). To make a long story short, I was the only white fellow in the crowd.
I approached the stricken fellow and knelt by his side - he appeared lifeless and I feared I was already too late. The crowd pressed in around me and began to yell - he's the one who ran him over- lets show him a little street justice- well, you get the picture. I was sure I was done, and directing myself to the bleeding fellow, I took his hand and comforted him as best I could, and prayed. At that moment a light rain began to fall, and the largest fellow I ever saw (7 foot+, and wide as lineman) approached me. He placed his hand on my shoulder, opened an umbrella and yelled, "leave him alone, he's a doctor" The crowd backed away, and after in about 10 minutes the police and rescue finally arrived - horrified that I had stuck by this poor fellows side without actually being a witness or an injured party. They quickly escorted me away.
Love brought me to that place...and Love saw me through it....No warm fuzzies....no flowers.....No heroics.....just the choice to do what is right.....
To this day I am convinced that I will find, at the end of my life, that an African American 7 foot + Guardian Angel was the one assigned to me.

If this Question were asked every hour
in at least ten other categories, imagine
the number of answers and stories
that would emerge.
This is One of the Great Questions.
From where I am, and what I believe
and want to say, there's no way to do
this justice, in this scope.
I would end up creating a book.
Thanks for posting it.

Yes. It was utterly overwhelming, the feeling of total security and care. And double it because I felt it was both for me and then could give it from me. It is the most profound and powerful feeling I have ever had.

All the time & all the way. Can't explain, though! A great Indian sage said to the wayside grass, "Wayside grass, love the stars, and your dreams will spring forth in your flowers!
