He sends out glimpses of hope to teens. He trys to show everyone that life isn't so bad. He trys to get people to think positive and make the best of life. He tells people in his songs that "life goes on" and that we should appreciate our loved ones. Yes, he does have some songs that have hatred in them but it is a way of expressing inner emotions and he makes everyone feel like going out in the world and show everyone they are not afraid and that they can make something out of themselves. Tupac was in my opinion the best rapper and poet I have ever herd. Tupac's poetry was second to none. His poem "The rose that grew from the concrete" means alot to me. The moral of that poem is that good things can come from unexpected places. I highly recommend you reading some of his poetry. It is very moving.

he isn't just a role model for the youth today, if you listen to the rappers that are making there money these days, they will tell you 2PAC was an inspiration to them and some of them rappers are in their 30's and 40's. he rapped about personal life experiences and those of his peers. his inspirational in a way that he does not worry about no repercussion that his lyrics may bring but feels that he is/was able to view his thoughts across through his music. Legend of all time. R.I.P PAC.

Through his music he lives on!

People talk about 2pac not because of his rapping, Biggie had better flow, any true hip-hop listiner will tell you that. The reason people talk about Pac is because he was a good person. His songs truelly spoke to people, and that is because he spoke from his heart and shared his soul to us thru his music. 2pac would have been famous even if he never rapped, if you read his poetry, it is truelly deep and moving. 2pac's songs and ideas made you think, and as everybody knows it was a major loss to the world of hip hop, when he was murdered.

Tupac and BIG were the beginning of the whole East Coast West Coast rivalry. He talks about it alot in his music. They went back and forth. Biggie and Pac actually talked about their deaths on their records. They brought hip hop to where it is today.

He wrote original and unashamed music from the heart. He let it all hang out in his songs, and that's what distinguishes a special artist.

He hasn't inspired me to do anything -- He was a dope poet though. He seemed fake to me being that he was from Baltimore, but was always poppin' off about Cali this and Cali that...and dissin' the East. What's inspirational about that?

R.I.P

Some people worship the very ground he is under. Not me personally, and when the words "Thug, Pimp, and Ho, bacame "good terms", people just started dying from bulletitis everywhere. Like the freekin' plague.
Hmmmm....?

Sheesh.
