v = 30
I'm surmising that you meant v = lwh [volume = length x width x height]
So v = 2 x 3 x 5 = 30

v - lwh when l = 2, w = 3 and h = 5
Just plug in,
v - 2(3)(5) = 0
v - 2(15) = 0
v - 30 = 0
v = 30

v - (2) (3) (5) = 0
v - 30 = 0
v = 30
