Well.....lover can mean different things. You can be single and have a lover. You can have a wife and another lover on the side. Or you can be like me and be the wife and the lover to your husband. My husband and I are lovers, as well as spouses, because we are in LOVE!

A lover usually means someone your involved with outside your relationship with someone else, or a lover can be someone you have sex with and no real committment. But a wife can also be your lover!
