Any time the possible consumer does not understand the commercial means the business did a horrible job on the ad campaign. I have no idea either.

They are like Zombies.

They want to be lead to Wendy's by a stupid, idiot, sicko with a pig tail wig made of yarn.

I don't go to Wendy's.

Square hamburgers on a round bun have no eye appeal to me.

What has happened to the creative people that have the ability to make a good commercial and what has happened to the people in the position that approve them in the first place.

It makes me feel like going out and kicking a tree.

It is an old psychology-marketing tactic.. that has to do with a lingering feeling left in the consumer that makes them feel confused. If they feel confused- they think about the commercial and the company more. Job well done Wendy's!
It is just like those annoying commercials that get under the skin- that leaves you feeling disgusted and annoyed. That lingering feeling is what they strive for.
Or say- a song they develop that you can't get out of your mind.. annoying right? You get the picture now I suppose. :) Cheers!

I think they don't know what to do since Dave Thomas died. Maybe it is just the marketing people kicking the trees since they can't figure out a new commerical.

The other lady, Clara Peller, who said "Where's the beef?" died as well.

Wendy's needs a new agency.

Haha, its them saying "try something different, here's everyone buying from the same places Mcdonald's, Jack in the box etc etc. Try out our square burgers which are a lot more delicious and better than those other guys which are all the same...."

I think the burgers are supposed to appeal to people's primative urges, such as kicking trees.

All they wanted were hot, juicy burgers. Why do you have to question them?
