There's assault, disturbing the peace. If you really hurt the guy, there's aggravated assault or mayhem. All of these are felonies. Have fun in jail.

Depends on your age, where this altercation took place, and who are the witnesses. In general, if you are an adult and starts a fight, then charges can be brought against you in both criminal and civil courts.
