im in a play at a community theater and i am the love interest... i am married with a baby in real life and i have to kiss this guy in the play and i cant get over the awkwardness of it, so i just laugh.... i know we cant progress and be believable if i dont get over my immaturity but this is the first time ive been in a role like this since ive been married, so i have a fine line of innapropriate i have to dance around..... we havnt kissed yet but we have to on friday and i need a trick or something to get my mind off the giggly thing ive been doing......

There is nothing inappropriate here. You are an actor in a play, and the script calls for you to kiss your love interest.
You need to use tomorrow to dig deep and find your motivation here. You're married and you have a baby- you know love. Use it to give your audience the gift of that knowledge in your performance.
You are not there to be yourself. You are there to be your character, and you are cheating the play out of a strong element if you cannot convey this emotion.
You can totally do this. Let go of yourself, and embrace the character!!

To kiss somebody is to express your love.Mother kiss her child or children there parents or husband and wife to each other express the same thing.we can not love different people differently love is an emotion and is an involuntary act..If you are a real (mature) artist the emotions will reveal automatically without any apprehensions.Only thing is that if you love your work you will not hesitate doing the things which will not harm you in any way.If you are sincere to your husband he will take the things in right prospective.

Just think of something super depressing. I sing classical music, and sometimes I have to preform sad songs. Akwardly, sometime when I preform these songs, I'm in a giggley mood. So I try really hard to think of something sad. I always think about my father who died 10 years ago when I was 3. And it always works. Sad that, that's the only thing that gets me sad.

It is just a play. take is as a part of play and enjoy doing it. no problem don't feel guilty. you are not cheating on anyone.
