When you insert the tampon far enough into your vagina, is half the string meant to be in there and get blood on it too?

When properly inserted, about half the string should be inside and about half hanging out for you to extract it after use.

Yeah the string is meant to be there so you can take that thing out

if the string gets blood on it, its time to change it.
