help with FireFox?

i have FireFox and when ever i search for something on the page the words i searched for on the page are highlighted how do i make it stop cause it has never done this before

Wrong section... but, I'll answer. When you hit ctrl+f to do a search, a little box pops up at the bottom of the screen where you enter a search term. Next to the textbox is something that says Highlight All. Simply uncheck that box, and you should be all good.

mat might be right, but if that doesnt work, try "Options -> Advanced -> General -> and then make sure the box that says "Search for Text When I Start Typing" is unchecked
