People change over time. The things you had in common in the past may not be there anymore. I have the same thing, too. I'd dearly love to find new friends, but so far, I haven't. And it's just not comfortable or fun being with the old ones, so right now, I'm by myself, too. Maybe later, if it's meant to be, I'll have a good friend. One would be enough. Hey...what are your interests? LOL

well u have probably heard of opposites attract!even though it would be nice to have ur good friends share the same interests as u, they don't, and you don't want to force them 2, and who said reading or making crafts isn't fun when ur just doing it by yourself? if you stayed good friends for all your life the obviously you guys no what to talk about, so i don't see the problem, all i am saying is you do your own hobbies and they will do theres

It often happens that people grow apart when they get older. Everyone matures at a different rate, and have different interest. Just enjoy the things that you do still have in common, and pursue other friends that are into the things that you really enjoy doing. You can do that by joing clubs that interest you.

I feel the same way. My friends are very into Bible study. That's fine with me, but I'm not into it. They try to push their beliefs onto me. Also, since I started seeing my boyfriend a while back, there has been a rift between me and my friends because they're always telling me what to do and what not to do. It's hard to go through this- I feel for you!

Yeah, I don't like hanging out with really old friends a lot. It's like eating the same food day after day after day. You need some variety, ya know?

What is the best thing about friendship is not about sharing the commons, but how he or she relate to you.
If a person relate to you because of the same job, when one of you lost job, you lost each other. If a person relate to you because of the same gold, you lost the gold, you lost each other. This is my word.
Friendship is something relate to a person with a person. If love talk about two soul become one, the friendship is something about when two soul become brothers or sisters.
Don't be sad. I have many friends but we are not relate to because we study in the same place. But we relate our soul, like brothers and sisters. We care for each others, not care about what we're doing in common.
So, when everybody got their career, they still contact me. They contact me because they care about me, not because we have share the hobby or interest. I like writing, she and he do not. But we still friends.
Whatever they are they still be my friends because we not friend because we are partner or working mate or course mate or class mate. We friend because we understand what friend means to us.
I hope these words which are originally created by me, will make you cheer up:
A good friend is someone who know about the truth, talk the truth, act based on truth, think with the truth, trust the truth, inspired and motivated by the truth. Truth is your best friend.
A best friend is someone who is symbiosis, not parasite.
A best friend will help you, cheer you up, teach you the right thing, defend you if you right, fix you if you're wrong.
A best friend sometimes sacrifices his time, his blood, his relationship just to make you have good future and safe.
A best friend who understand you most and do the rational and right thing based on how he or she understand you.
A best friend will support you if you do the right thing, but he or she will try to change you if you do the wrong thing.
A best friend sometimes become your mommy, you might think he or she is a busybody, but when she or he is not around, you really miss him or her.
A best friend is someone who is just like your brother or sister who know a lots of thing about you.
A best friend is your hero, your supporter, your strength, your inspirations.
Because you have best friends, then you understand how important is your life, so you come with this strength of friendship to make your life cheer up and better.
So then, when it come to a victory, you like to celebrate with your best friend.
Best friend share the happiness, also the sadness and sorrow. You're not alone with them.
Don't be sad, buddy.. cheer up!
