I have played it with friends (not on line) and found it interesting.
It's official: at noon on August 11, 2005, MSN Games launched the finished version of Catan Online. It's time to play!

Good game that, since it was created about a decade ago, has lended itself to dozens of variants and versions. The game can be played by two but its better for three or four. It's easy to learn and takes about an hour or so to play
