how do you had 4/9 = 13/18 and how do you get that?

4 / 9 + 5 / 18
8 / 18 + 5 / 18
13 /18

i hope when u put an equal sign that meant adding i guess since u put adding fractions as your title

ok in order to add fractions u must have a COMMON DENOMONATOR- which in this case is 18. so multiply 4/9 by 2/2, essentially 1. That gives you 8/18+13/18. Now just add the nemorator (the top #s). = 21/18

21/18 is a mixed number. As a normal number it is 1 3/18=Answer

4/9 + 9/9 = 13/18 remember that 9/9 = 1

i think this is adding funcation then the question will be

4/9+13/18=21/18 answer
