I don't think so. Being together takes more than that and there are too many people in the world to average that possibility out.

Yes I believe in soul mates. I am still married to mine. It's been 34 years.

We used to argue a few times year when we were in our early years of marriage. It hurt both of us terribly. It didn't solve anything either.

We've always been able to talk about everything with each other. It just seemed ridiculous that the two of us couldn't work through our differences amiably instead of hurting each other by the cruel things we would say or do.

One day we both agreed that it hurt too much to argue with each other. So both of us agreed to make a conscientious effort that we wouldn't argue anymore because it hurts us both too much.
Instead if either of us is troubled about something we just sit, hold hands & talk quietly about the problem. Then we figure out how to resolve it together. We don't allow it to fester nor do we allow it to escalate out of control.

Because we are soul mates, who love each other deeply, neither of us enjoy causing the other any sort of pain. We only feel complete when we are together.

yeah...i think all of us have one particular soul mate in a lifetime but that doesn't necessarily mean that you'll end up marrying that person. you could be soul mates for the rest of your life without being romantically and intimately involved...just like being best friends for life...although it would be far more wonderful if you will meet your soul mate at the right time in the right place so that your chances of becoming one would be greater...i found my soul mate, had our best times together but somehow failed in the process...i married somebody else...we're still soul mates and still manage to communicate even if we live in different countries already. he's still single though...maybe sorry for what he did that caused me to choose somebody else...i'm not sure if he's really really happy though coz i can feel that he ain't no matter how much he tells me that he is....we still feel each other somehow i guess...

you just have to be sensitive and open to the possibilities...a lot of people misunderstood soul mates as their perfect mate...as in spouse! sorry doesn't work that way... thats why we have such a term as soul sisters...so your soul mate doesn't always have to be from the opposite sex...you'll know and definitely feel the special connection...you'll just know its him or her....

I believe in soul mates.
But I don't think everyone has one.
Like me for instance I'll never find a soul mate.
