mine is open, but some here are mistaken. you can get still receive messages from a user you have blocked. fine by me, i find great amusement in some of these crazies getting all worked up and writing 2 pages of BS just for me.

Because I don't need any more spam then I already get and I don't want strangers trying to send me weird and creepy things. Plus I don't want anyone to use it as a search on myspace and know more about me than I want.

I used to have my entire profile open, but after running againist a couple whacko's, I've turned most of my profile private.
I still allow email though.

It didnt used to be, but I got tired of getting emails and then not being able to respond.
You shouldnt be able to send e-mails from YA if you wont receive them.

It's not. I just block mail from the ones who send the hate. There's too many nice people here to block everyone. I respect others opinions and welcome them. I just don't need the pornographic mail and threatening mail. Just weed them out and enjoy the correspondence from others.
