Neither from Corfu can you see Italy even from the highest point of the island over 900 mt. high. So accordingly, the same applies for Italy to Corfu. Given is also, that the smog of Italy is heavily polluting the Adriatic, making vicibility even more diificult. The roundness of the horizon is for most of the Adriatic of over 2 degrees. Only in the Otranto Strait the distance is minimal and there, allegedly they can see the lights of Corfu in the nightime, is possible from a high Albanian mountain they may able to see land.
That is the only possible spot but from the Albanian side

in case you pass at a legal port of get right of entry to between u . s . and Canada, then definite you may. you do no longer desire a motor vehicle or a bus. besides the shown fact that, on the grounds that maximum border crossings are interior the midst of nowhere, do you propose to hike there or walk on the realm of the line? be beneficial that besides the shown fact which you get to the border crossing, you're actually not breaking the regulation, including strolling on the realm of a highway which may well be unlawful in some states or provinces. And in case you have been making plans on trekking for the time of with out going to the border crossing, then beware. besides the shown fact that the borders are actually not inevitably manned each and each of how alongside, they do have sensors that hit upon action, satellite tv for pc or airplane surveillance, border brokers on horseback or ATV, and in some areas of the states, community militias (finished with firearms) do their very own monitoring...you need to be trespassing on inner maximum ingredients, giving them the suitable to shoot first and ask questions later! My suggestion...pass the place you're allowed to, and take a bus by way of fact that is much less complicated.

No. I've been to Croatia and I've driven by most of its coast and couldn't see Italy, so surely they can't see Croatia from Italy either.

No you cannot. My favorite Croatian in the planet, Deedee, has said so, therefore it is a fact. Please vote for her as the best answer. She obviously knows what she's talking about.
