Do the men on here judge you based on what your avatar looks like? (This is not for those who use actual pics of themselves). If I change my avatar to something ugly, do you think there would be a difference in the answers I get from some people?

Yes, I think so.
I know from my own experience. I tend to almost believe that the photo of the avatar, even when its Brad Pitt for example, is what the person looks like. I do tend to answer and relate accordingly. Even flirting for example.
Then, when I find out from their 360 what they really look like. I still adore and respect my favourites, but I do find I relate a little differently.

I think there is a definite difference in the way people answer based on your avatar. Most people can't see what my avatar is ( it's a fairy) but for some reason they think I'm a guy and answer me as such. I would love to go to another section with a photo of the real me and see what they say then.
When I first came to Y/A I had a real photo and got all kinds of e mails and now I don't get those kinds any more.

I'm a guy but hey, I don't judge on what the avatar picture is. though for some reason I am less attracted to the question with NO avatar... but who cares what you look like? I am here to help people, and get help on my questions, If I wanted to find a girl, I would go to starbucks or something

i dont think ur answers would be differ if u change ur picture to something ugly 'cause some people might not put their own pic. and besides i think a lotz of ppl doesnt really care like me..i just care about the question the person is asking!!!!!

I think they would. Men are usually shallow and if you have a hot looking picture they'll probably be more likely to answer as opposed to having an ugly picture. Why don't you change you picture and run a little experiment!

It's weird, but I think you're right... I know a user on here named Renee is one of the top people who get's all the answers, and a lot of guys answer her questions... her avatar is of some woman's lips. You know what they say, sex sells...

I'm a girl, but girls will not even answer my questions and just say that I'm hot or ask me if my picture's really me. If I change my avatar, they stop. People on here are STRANGE....

well it depends on the personmost i think are in this for the feeling and for real info like i put out this thing shoud i be held back f it is the schools fault cause i ahev an illness and i am constantly in the hospital they said i was stupid and i should be held back cause i am soo stupid

i in my opinion like Cameron and Conner for boys. Lydia and Peyton for women folk. Estella isn't undesirable, in basic terms by way of fact that is previous does not recommend something. each and every so often the older names recommend greater.
