The absurdity of alcohol being legal vs. marijuana is right up there with the absurdity of the nature of the U.S. government being what it is.
Basically, it is, like most everything in this country, about money. Alcohol makes for big bucks whereas grass can be self grown easily.
And not only is marijuana less dangerous, it also would help many people with their pains and illnesses and chill out a high-strung nation.
It all comes down to personal responsibility. And while we are on the subject of legal, making prostitution legal would be a real benefit to this society on many levels too!

I definately agree with you. Alcohol is the obvious, evil cause of domestic violence and other cultural maladies. Nobody ever dies from marijuana.There's no doubt that if people choose to use marijuana instead of alcohol we would not have the same number of problems. I think it's time our laws stop encouraging the use of alcohol and allow adults to make the rational decision to make the safer choice to use marijuana. If marijuana were legal, many people would switch from alcohol to marijuana. I think that a lot of Alcohol abuse come from the fact that it is the only legal drug and therefore is overused. End domestic violence: legalize marijuana

Alcohol is way more dangerous than Marijuana.I don't know of any Marijuana related deaths,but we sure have a lot of Alcohol Related Deaths.

Indeed, a question I have pondered for decades, man made alcohol and God made marijuana, yet we print right on our currency" In God we trust" doesn't this strike you as hipocritical or a double standard? I just don't get the so called powers to be of this country.

Yeah, it's way less dangerous. I gave up the ganj though so I could quit worrying about the Grasstapo.

it should be legalized , it is less dangerous , but they probably dont legalize it because government cant make a profit from it

Ya-It should be legal for adults-I heard it can or could be perscribed by a doctor unless I mis-understood someone.

yes it is less dangerous than alcholol, i think you tend to drive slower and more paranoid when stoned...** so ive read anyway..hahaha
