I don't like Akon, but his voice isn't the only thing that I don't like what else is it?

He probably needs to take classes to learn how to soften up his voice. Whenever he holds notes, it just has this really annoying ringing effect. Either that, or sing over beats that compliment his voice, like "Ghetto".
Other than that, I don't really see why there's a reason to hate him.

OMG, his face perhaps!
he is the Ugliest thing i've ever seen!
Sure he has a lot of popular songs, but I don't think he's one of the greatest artists out there.

the voice kills me and he sounds like a kid. honestly i've never been able to listen to a complete song. and doesn't that other cat with the dreds sound just like him sometimes? not cool.

i dont like his voice, but its not near as horrible as t pains computerized shi*
mostly its because all his songs are played out, recycled themes and recycled beats (have you heard dont matter!?!?!)

Songs are overproduced.
The edge isn't there.
