While I hope you're saying that tongue in cheek, the only way two people can stay happy together is honesty, humor, RESPECT and a desire to make each other happy. If she doesn't feel respected or loved, why should she "stay in check". This is universal for all couples. What brought you together in the first place, keep those common interests alive, take time for "dates" even if you've been together 30 years. Have fun, make happy wonderful memories together. My wife and I both have high stress jobs, kids, dogs, LIFE! But we always take time for each other, even if it's just a few minutes at the end of the day to say how much we love each other and how lucky we are to have found each other. We've been together over 6.5 years and married almost 3 years.

Well, make sure she knows how much you care about her. And if you're around her, make sure that everyone else knows you're with her, and they have no right to be near her. Ya know what I mean? If your at a bar and someone starts eye balling her, give them an evil look, then walk next to your girl so that you're touching her, but standing in between the other persons sight, and her view.

all you gotta do is mjust make sure she know whos in charge..at least for that moment....
