I certainly did, the man I love...
... but it doesn't need to be love, friendship would do too...

what do these bpeople mean to you? Do you consider them real or "virtual" relationships?

Yes, I met the love of my life here. Was not looking for it or expecting it. It happened and I couldn't be happier. My Redhead Angel with the Lovely Green Eyes thank you for sending me that IM that one day. My life has never been the same.

Some "real" others "virtual". I have met some great ppl on here. My first contact doesn't come on much anymore but we chat almost every day, send each other lil care packages, give advice, all that. The most awesome friend a girl could ask for. I love him like a brother. I've also got a new "son", we've been chatting a lot, he's fun. There's "crazy Cali", we're like 2 peas in a pod, one in the same in lots of ways. Have talked on the phone with a couple of ppl from here. Have also had a few bad experiences too. You just have to be careful and decide who you can trust.

yes I have met a couple of special people here on Y&A I never IM someone first and so they always chat with me and we have become pretty close friends. I consider them real people. Although I see how it would be sooo easy to think of them as virtual friends.

I have a virtual friend on here who I chat to on messenger sometimes, I also made some friends back in the days of when msn chat rooms were at their peak. These people (both men and women)have remained real friends and very close to my heart

Not in person, but I'd like to. I consider her a friend for the virtual part of it, and I really like her advice! As long as she knows shes the tops, I'm OK with it. She could reach out and catch the sun!! She is my #1

Wow. Amazing question. Yeah, sometimes it seems virtual. I know I'll probably never meet the people I know on here, but they are REAL people nonetheless and I remember that and have to respect them as if I were talking to their face. Just because they may be miles away doesn't make their feelings any less real. And they are as important to me as anyone I know face to face.

I have never met anyone who has met online and had a real relationship like actually meeting and maybe getting married. All I hear is negative about online romances.

But I know very little about any users here... I have a real wife I like to hang out with.

yes, but she says it better than me;

i came across sugaree on answers over a year ago, we "played" together here pretty often. not with sexual innuendo, it wasnt like that. after about 8 months we chatted on 360, still no innuendo, just friends. then after a year we realized we were being retarded and that we actually "liked" each other so he came to visit for a weekend. then he came back permanently. i already loved him so i guess i fell in love at the airport
