Yes, when my oldest son had his first cherry popsicle I was on the phone with the pediatrician shortly after terrified he had blood in his urine. lol
I brought him to the office and she gave me a baby urine collector, it sticks over the penis and is glued to the skin. He was fine, I was overreacting.
Its funny now, but then I was really worried.

Thats so funny I seen this question. Just the other day I had to call the ask a nurse at the hospital because my stool was blue! And I got really worried, and it was just because I had a bomb pop, and the blue dye in it is what caused me to have a blue stool! Lol. Sorry if its TMI!!! But yes red food coloring can turn your bowel movements red. (make sure its not red from blood, or its black or tar like, then you need to call a doctor)

red foods, red dye, red drinks can cause what looks like blood (but isn't) in your bowel movements.

I large enough doses, I don't see why not. If it continues for more than a movement or two - go see your doctor to rule out any bleeding or other internal issues!

Yes, in some foods. Ketchup chips, borscht...
However, it may be something else...
