I sent a picture of mine to a guy where I had mild-moderate acne. And he wrote back commenting on that! He doesn't realize it, but that really brought my self esteem down. He's a great friend, but SERIOUSLY... wasn't that just a bit rude of him?

By the way, I've tried everything to clear it. It's better now, but my family's genetics are seriously bad when it comes to acne. It's not my fault.

I actually was just weirded out at first, but when my mother told me that he was being rude about it I thought about it and then felt angry at him.

properly, pimples is like purely 5% a element of your physique, frequently small breakouts of the face. Almlost everyone i understand in my sisters extreme college has had pimples or gets a breakout some circumstances a 300 and sixty 5 days, it happens. Even the various conventional human beings i understand get it. Its no longer some thing to which you should be placed down via. ladies, purely like adult males with superb personalities and an incredible heart. Your outdoors would not constantly remember. Your interior concerns extra, and if a woman or everyone judges you on the exterior, or is going so a methods as judging you on your pimples then they do no longer understand what their thinking. I am not a guy, but anyone should have the sense that the girl in question is not blind, and is painfully aware that she has acne, or is overweight, or whatever the problem might be. There is no need to bring someones "problem" to their attention. Things like acne and overweight, are things that the person who suffers from them, are usually self conscious about, anyway. *sm*

True, most people are not happy about their acne, so it's quite rude to comment on something like that...
But then, you should just cool down too. ^_^
I'm not a guy, but I won't tell anyone about it, I mean, I have it myself.
REPLY: Your mum is right, but I don't think you should feel angry at your friend just because of something that your mum says...

I don't understand why he would comment on that. I mean it's not like you don't know. I think that was very wrong of him to point out the obvious and if I were you I wouldn't let it get to me. He is one with the problem.

I would try to help her get rid of her acne, but I wouldn't kill her self-esteem like that.

What an a**hole! Tell him to grow up!! I'd be seriously pissed. As if you don't already know, and you need him to point it out. How rude of him.

don't you think that self esteem should be measured by what is in ones heart and mind rather than what is on ones face. self esteem is just that...SELF ESTEEM it cannot be given by a outside source.....remember that

Someone said that to me once. I was really pissed off, but I didn't let it get to me. It made me more mad because he said they were "all over" my face, when I had like 5 pimples.
