What can i do to purposely wreck a car engine?

Is there anything that i can add to the fuel to destroy a car or truck engine?

My nephews and i are wanting to do this with an old beater we have

Believe it or not, if you add something like carburetor cleaner to the gas tank every time you fill up you will burn up the valves. These additives are generally a use once every 2,500 miles or so. Nitromethane will make the car run very hot (orange exhaust manifolds) and you may not be able to shut the engine off until it runs out of fuel or catches fire.

Otherwise, antifreeze will kill it very quickly. Anything you put in the gas tank will contaminate the gas tank and the fuel lines and the injectors and so on.

None of these proceedures are legal and a wise Police Department will discover the culprit unless you do the carburetor cleaner bit with every fill up.This just takes a while, like a few years.

Can always punch a hole in the oil pan, or even the transmission pan. You don't want to make it obvious. A hole in the top of the oil filter will be immediately known by the engine smoking. Hole in the gas tank will emit the smell of gas. Could also throw salt, sugar, sand, anti-freeze, what not in the oil filler tube. I'm thinking a simple engine flush won't clean that bad boy out very well. Or oil, anti-freeze and other destructive liquid in the gas tank might work also. You want to do something that won't turn on one of the idiot lights in the dashboard.

If you add sugar to the oil, that should lock up the engine pretty good.

I can't see any reason to do this that is legal. I'd strongly advise against it. If it is not your car then you could go to jail, if it is your car, then just sell it and get something out of it, instead of trashing the engine.

Just don't do it.

adding anything liquid to the fuel can really mes up a car, and if you want to do some serious damage, just fill it with diesel. that will take care of the car. but like the other gys said, i advise not doing anything, because you could end up in jail over it.

try sugar use a kitchen funnel with a short piece of tube on it. You don't want the tube to go to far just about an inch or so inside the hole. Then wash it down with a 2 liter of soda i have done this to someone who has pissed me off lol

id have to agree with the other two answers this is a bad way to get even with someone or even to do to any ones car,id go and take it out on them,if its your own car your wanting to do this too,like the one answer said sugar in the oil will mess it up badly,i cant see any sense in doing it though,good luck .

If you are mad or upset with someone, take it out on them, not a vehicle.

If you want to ruin your own, why not just dump it?
