No, but do not touch the glass part with your fingers as it will cause them to heat up and prematurly burn out. If you do or did clean them with rubbing alcohol

But be careful of touching the bulb your putting in, try not to touch the glass with your fingers. Not a major deal, just that the grease from your fingers will get cooked on the glass when you use the lights and a small chance it may damage the bulb.

no,but don't actually touch the new bulb with your fingers the oil from your skin will shorten the life of it a lot,other than that just don't have the lights on,when you change it,but there's no need to disconnect the battery on it,good luck with it.

Try tapping on the headlight relay with a screwdriver, if they shut off then replace the relay.

its not a life and death question nor will your car blow up, it doesnt really matter whether you disconnect them or not but just to be on the safe side, i would turn them off!
