Hate em?
Love them?

Can you see them in your cd collection again after they said they didn't want to be in there next to Toby and Reba?

Their idiots. They pissed away a great career they had in country music by being arrogant enough to think we care about what they think. I had all their CD's up until they disrespected the President, Americans and Country Music. As far as I am concerned they no longer exist.

Most true country fans could care less about them or their music now. They compounded their stupidity by continuing to degrade country music fans when we didn't embrace them after they stuck their foot in their mouth and didn't apologize. Anyone who would go on foreign soil in a time of war and degrade our President and doesn't see anything wrong with that doesn't deserve a second chance.

They have the right to their free speech, I'm not saying they don't. But I have the same right. I let my dollars speak for me.

First of all, I must say that this topic is brilliant!

I hate the Dixie Chicks. I never liked their music, but now I really don't like them in all aspects. I am a hardcore Toby and Reba fan so Natalie and the rest of the group can go suck it easy. =]

Everyone has a basic freedom of speech blah, blah, blah....
Well if the dixie chicks can, then so can I.
They will never be a part of my CD collection.
I think a big part of country music is loyalty and patriotism and respect. The chicks are lacking in all three. They are not loyal to the music genre that made them famous, they obviously lack pride in their country and they have no respect for our president or for the troops who have and will die to keep their sorry butts free.

I hate them! They are no longer country in my book. If you can't support you president and your country then leave. We have to many people in our country fighting for our rights and the rights of others so we can live free and be free. Plus if they think that the president is so bad let them live in Iraq for a while. I say go Toby and Reba!

Well..considering that I only like their older stuff I may not purchase their cds anymore...but I thought it idiotic to spout off about America in a foreign country....I mean seriously it was uncalled for...but hey we are a free country, My personal feelings are that famous people need to stay out of politics..it brings too many personal feelings up! Anyway....i thought they were getting too big for their britches before they did that crap...i mean their early stuff i really enjoyed, but they started sucking before that dumb remark....I dont really think that I will like any of their new stuff either so only their first few cds will be in my collection.....

I think all three of the girls are great! I love that they are not afraid to speak their mind, and are not afraid to speak their minds in their music too, such as their song "Not Ready to Make Nice", that really made me like them more. They've definitely got talent.

With that being said, I am also a Reba fan, I love her music and her. I can't say that about Toby, though some of his music is alright...

I support Dixie Chicks!

I think Natalie Maines has a big mouth and has a big ego. She has a look at me attitude and is a spoiled brat. I think she would have been out of the business a long time ago if it wasn't for her daddy being in the business to bail her out. I think the other two go along with her because they would rather sell out and get the money then stick true to who they are.

I love their music and I love their politics. What a breath of fresh air coming from the C&W genre. I can't stand Toby and Reba, I don't feel one way or another about. I heard her live once and it was pretty boring.

You don't go in the middle of the war to the biggest supporters of the war, especially where our troops are stationed and came to the concert expecting a slice of home, and give your President a black eye in front of your audience.

Especially if your #1 hit in the States that week is called "Travelling Soldier". For pete's sake, that's stupid.

These Confederate Floosies had to either act like they do now or tank their career. They are not who they think they are. As a military retiree and former country broadcaster I believe they deserve their negative publicity. They earned nothing by their actions, and cannot at this time convince me they wanted to be rebellious when Nathalie Maines couldn't control herself that day.

If they were so ready to apologize for their actions that day, why did they pose nude on Entertainment Weekly's cover just two weeks later? Drama queens all. Anyone who argues this is blind to the truth.

All this being said, I cannot defend our President for what he has done. I STRONGLY suggest taking him to an impeachment process immediately, for subjecting our troops to battle and death with no intel support and to question his anticipation of 9/11. But as long as W. is the leader, his Commander In Chief position shall NOT be mocked. Three bimbos are not the reason to change this discipline.
