Doesn't matter at all. I just love to read.

I actually prefer paperbacks too. Hardback books aren't the same, though I do own some (Catching Fire, Mockingjay, Bewitching by Alex Flinn, The Fault In Our Stars, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard are the only hardback books I own, the rest of my 58 books are paperback). I gladly accept your bonus demand by the way. I'll let you know what I thought when I finished it.

Paperbacks are lighter and much easier to carry (unless it's a really thick book!) I hate hardbacks because they are more expensive, it's much easier to damage the corners and edges, and they take up more space.
Unless it's special, like Harry Potter or I can get it cheap on eBay/Amazon, I usually wait for the paperback.

Hardback, you can lay it down flat on a table and it will stay open. Most paperbacks won't do that.

For reading, I prefer a paperback as they are lighter to carry in my bag. But hardbacks are more durable.

Paperback. For some reason the weight of hardcover books hurts my hands over time. Getting old, I guess.

Paper back..Hardbacks are usually bigger definitely clunkier and just harder to handle than a paperback.

I prefer paperbacks because they don't hurt when they fall on your face after you've drifted off to sleep.
